Our Story
HappyKids Events was founded in 2018 by childhood friends Rebecca Thompson and Daniel Martinez, who shared a passion for creating joyful experiences for children. What started as a small venture organizing birthday parties for friends and family quickly grew into Sydney's most trusted children's event planning company.
The inspiration came when Rebecca struggled to find quality entertainment and creative decorations for her nephew's fifth birthday. She realized many parents faced the same challenge - wanting to create magical celebrations but lacking the time, resources, or expertise to bring their vision to life. Together with Daniel, who brought extensive experience in event management and entertainment production, they established HappyKids Events with a simple mission: make every child's celebration extraordinary.
Over the past eight years, we've organized over 2,500 successful events across Sydney, from intimate backyard parties to large-scale celebrations. Our commitment to creativity, professionalism, and attention to detail has earned us recognition as Sydney's premier children's party organization company. Every event we create is infused with the same enthusiasm and care we'd bring to our own children's celebrations.
Today, HappyKids Events employs a dedicated team of event coordinators, entertainers, decorators, and support staff who share our vision of spreading joy through unforgettable celebrations. We continue to innovate, introducing new themes, sustainable party practices, and inclusive entertainment options that reflect Sydney's diverse community.
